The paper is devoted to the research of measurement and residual stress reduction at products. The attention was paid mainly to the rails, spiral welded tubes and weldmens. The technological process treatment of production, pressure testing, annealing and vibration were examined for the residual stress reduction. The gained experiences and results make possible to review the influence of single methods on the residual stress change at the investigated products.
