The contribution presents authors’ aims which tend to research, development and optimization of constructional systems for protection of car crew and passengers. Realization of suitable impact mechanism was presumption of such aims. This mechanism should enable to test safe constructional concepts of both the interior and the exterior car components from the point of accumulation and particularly dissipation of impact energy in sufficiently general range of collision speed between car and man. The realized activities are an example of cooperation among experts from various workplaces: industrial subject – special company – technical university.
