Loading processes with various spectral properties for fatigue tests

The paper describes methods used for generating of Gaussian processes with prescribed spectral densities and their implementation on electro-hydraulic testing machines for combined loading. Tube specimens were loaded by random forces and in torque by different processes. Since the machine does not interpret input processes precisely, the actual processes were measured, iterated and processed into a complex damaging stress and its spectral properties.
