Tube bending simulations, when using the Finite Element Method
Přibyl M., Kuliš Z., Španiel M., Vítek K.
pages 284 - +7p., full text

The paper deals with a possibility of a use of the final elements method (FEM) for tube bending simulations. The created FEM models of the bending assembly and a tube used for tube bending simulations, when using a process of winding the tube on a formative segment without a supporting thorn, are described here and the selected results obtained from the realized tube bending simulations, including the tube unloading, are displayed and commented here.
