The paper deals with derivation of relations between the half-length of a longitudinal through crack in a pressure linepipe and outflow parameters of water as followed from reparation overloading of linepipes by internal pressure of water. The results are demonstrated on a specific pipeline section 1680 m long, made from steel pipes of 530 mm in outside diameter and 6 mm in wall thickness.
