The influence of surface roughness in energetic losses on a turbine blade cascade is presented here. The impact of Reynolds and Mach number by the different surface roughness on losses is described. Results from experimental steam turbine are compared with information received after investigation on a linear blade cascade in an aerodynamic wind tunnel.
