The paper deals with the failure analysis of the RC pre-stressed roof beam of the supermarket hall. The beam was broken down during the construction of the hall building. There are evaluated possible load combinations in the time of failure and compared with the design loads. The calculated response results show the supposed locations of cracks in the roof truss. The reason of the beam downfall was the minimal shear reinforcement in the beam support part.
