This contribution deals with numerical analysis of the stability of long journal bearings. The Navier - Stokes eq., continuity eq. and boundary conditions are used by the solution. Bezier body is used for approximation of liquid volume, velocity and pressure distribution. It is presented the new approach to the analysis of the SQUEEZE film dampers and journal bearings.
