Optimal dimensions of a metal-diaphragm of a measuring element

The dimensioning of the metal-diaphragm depends on the maximum measured pressure and on necessary preload. Classic methods of elasticity were used to get some preliminary estimates. Final optimal dimensions of the diaphragm were determined numerically by FEM using large displacement contact algorithm.
