Investigation of the influence of asymmetry in case of the vibration of a resiliently supported plate - application on the vibration of vehicle II.

pages 289 - +9p, full text

The symmetry of a mechanical system is a generally received presupposition at investigation of a vibrating vehicle. The influence of asymmetry on a 2D model is generally known. The basis for investigation of influence of asymmetry of the rolling stock is in this paper as the first approximation stated the investigation of the influence of asymmetry for 3D model - rectangular, rigid, resiliently supported plate. The individual influences (the different rigidity of springs, the geometrical asymmetry of supporting elements, the excentricity of the central gravity point and the angular displacement of main central axes of inertia from the axes of geometrical symmetry) and their combinations on natural frequencies and the shapes of vibration of the plate are presented. The equations of motion of free vibration for vertical shifts only are stated here in matrix form found out from the Lagrange's equations of 2'd type. They were analyzed two cases of asymmetry and influence of this asymmetry on the time flow of rotation and on the time of shift during the free vibration. This paper is a sequel of [I}. It is a next part of ongoing systematic analysis of influence of asymmetry.
