pages 370 - +4p., full text

Hole drilling method is a total numerical simulation of tension or bending loading of two types of beam specimens. The FEM model of the special drilling strain gauge rosette measurement simulates the real situation of each specimen. Drilling process is realized numerically step by step. The rosette data signals provide a base for another hypothesis of residual stress identification, which is introduced in this paper.
