Influence of geometric configuration of human vocal tract on phonation of Czech vowels
Vampola T., Horáček J.
pages 325 - +10p., full text

1D and 3D finite element models of supraglottal tract designed for Czech vowel / a / are analyzed. Performed modal analysis is focused on investigation of the influence of the geometric configuration on the formant frequencies . The interaction of flexible structure with fluid is taken into account in the3D finite element model. The sensitivity analyses were performed for 3D finite element model. For tuning of the human vocal tract model according measured acoustic pressures in front of the lips is necessary use multi objective optimalization method.
