Viscoelasticity and growth theory
J. Rosenberg, L. Hynčík
pages 318 - +8p., full text

The paper shows how to explore the mathematical model of growth and remodeling for description of both visco-elastic behavior of continua and simulation of muscle contraction. The mentioned algorithm accommodates a lot of material parameters and functions (deformation energy, remodeling force) that are necessary to choose in order to the results to be in correspondence to the experimental data. However, this model is able to be considered more physically based that other, purely phenomenological models. The goal of the paper is not to find real parameters but to show the possibilities and qualitative match with known results.
