Rozvoj metody počítačového modelování v oblasti dynamiky rotorů s nelineárními vazbovými elementy
Jaroslav Zapoměl
pages 329 - +14p., full text

Rotors belong to the most frequently used components of machine devices. In a number of cases they are coupled with the stationary part through hydrodynamical bearings or squeeze film dampers. Even if technical utilization of these constraint elements started only several decades ago, beginnings of their research go back till to the first half of the 19th century. An important instrument for their investigation is a computer modelling method. Contemporary requirements put on the technical level of rotor systems (increse of the speed of rotation, work in extremal conditions - high or low temperature, vacuum, aggressive environment, ecological reasons, etc.) arrive at needs to accommodate new properties and phenomena (compliance of the bearing, cavitation in the oil film, inertia effects of the lubricant, turbulent flow in the oil layer, roughness of the surfaces, etc) in their computational models. Development in this field (approaches to calculation of a pressure function taking into account inertia of the lubricant and cavitation in the oil film, procedures for analysis of a transient response, steady-state response, stability, bifurcations and character of the vibration) has been also contributed by several research projects supported by the Grant Agency and Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic.
