Bending of the fibres with non-continuous dependence of the material parameters on the deformation

The topic of the paper is the solution of the equilibrium equations for the fiexion of a transversally isotropic fibre and the discussion on the results for the materials, for which the dependence of material parameters on the deformational state is non-continuous. There is shown that it is possible to find the difference between the modulus of elasticity and the "flexural rigidity modulus" (constant of proportionality between the curvature and the moment of flexion at the bending of a rod), but in this case the second one is not any material constant.
